Default Buying and selling of property

My friends were buying property for the first time and they were complete dummies in the process. They didn't know what to do and I had to explain it 3 times.

From what should I start? Can you share an experience of your friends that were buying or selling a property?

Your advice should at least provide a rough idea for the actions to take. We can also discuss the selling of ground and office spaces.

I want to do a purchase of apartment so your recommendations should same me from some troubles

Default Find a lawyer!

Find a lawyer! It must be the 1st stuff that you must do. I see you are a newbie in these complicated questions. Thus, in the case of a mistake, the probability that the seller can cheat you is huge. Better pay for a guy, who is a specialist in real estate. Answer yourself: are you seriously eager to lose? If not, be simply ready that the process will take at least 1-2 months. Talk to the fellows that can become your future neighbors and ask them all the things that interest you about the house.

Default Be very cautious

Be very cautious! My old aunt was cheated. Yes, the deal was outside Europe, and she knew that was a great risk but she needed money. We spend 7 months(!) to punish the thieves and to return to the poor lady everything that she lost. When somebody recommends you an experienced (and even not a cheap!) lawyer, do not ignore it. Greedy guys become losers very often. Another advice: do not ever show to the buyer cash.

Default Where do you live?

If you are from the smallest town, everything is very easy. People know their neighbors pretty well. The probability that you will be cheated is so tiny, that you can simply forget about it. In big cities, real estate deal is a risk.
